Job Title: Mid Automation Engineer CIP DeltaV
Location: Holly Springs, NC
Duration: 6 months
Pay rate: $60/hr - $70/hr (depending on experience)
Job Description:
- Looking for a Utilities & CIP Process Automation DeltaV Support Engineer to support the operational activities for Utilities & CIP equipment and systems contained within the Drug Substance Manufacturing (DSM) area of the facility.
- Equipment is controlled primarily by a DeltaV DCS.
- This role will support equipment start-up and to complete code development/testing, commissioning, qualification, PQ, and initial engineering runs of Utilities & CIP DeltaV software.
The following scope will be provided by the Utilities & CIP Process Automation DeltaV Support Engineer:
- Attend regularly scheduled project status meetings with Client Automation engineers and the System Integrator
- Initiate design and provide input on Automation requirements for one or multiple process areas
- Review life cycle documentation
- Initiate and drive delivery of Automation changes in support of Utilities Operation activities
- Review and approve Kneat documents including: DeltaV software FATs, Automation Commissioning Test Protocols, software OQs, and Automation Change Assessments.
- Support generation of Kneat documents.
- Support initial operations-focused activities, including PQ, water runs, engineering runs, and first batches.
- Provide on-call support to Commissioning, Qualification, Validation, and Operations activities.
- Coordinate with various project workstreams including FDBN Automation, FDBD Automation, CSV,
- CQV, Utilities, Process Engineering, Manufacturing, and others as needed
- Complete Safety, Project Procedure, and Project Instruction training as required
