Job Overview

We are hiring a Senior Technical Product Manager to join our Digital Energy Solutions team, reporting directly to the CTO. This role requires strong energy & utilities domain expertise and hands-on experience with Transmission & Distribution (T&D) automation and control software.

The ideal candidate will combine technical product leadership, product ownership, and pre-sales support, working closely with engineering, architecture, QA, sales, and marketing teams to deliver enterprise-grade digital energy products.


Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and translate customer and business needs into clear functional, non-functional, and technical product requirements.

  • Own and manage the product backlog, priorities, and delivery plans as a Product Owner.

  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, QA, product marketing, and business teams to ensure successful execution.

  • Ensure product requirements are fully understood and delivered as expected.

  • Research and track industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor capabilities.

  • Lead technical pre-sales activities, including product demos and solution presentations.

  • Support Sales & Marketing by answering product capability and technical questions.

  • Plan and manage beta programs, define success criteria, and support product acceptance.

  • Identify, document, and mitigate technical and delivery risks.

  • Create and maintain product documentation, user guides, and training materials.

  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert and product evangelist for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Provide product training to customers, partners, and internal teams.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in Product Engineering or Technical Product Management
    (3+ years with a Master’s degree).

  • Strong experience in Power Transmission & Distribution Automation / Control Software.

  • 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner in Agile environments.

  • 5+ years working in Agile-based SDLC within enterprise systems.

  • 2+ years of experience with Scrum, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.

  • Proven experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.

  • Hands-on experience delivering digital/software solutions for the Energy & Utilities industry.

  • Scripting or programming experience (Python, Java, or similar preferred).

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SCADA, ADMS, EMS, or grid automation platforms.

  • Background in control systems or power systems engineering.

  • Experience supporting utility customers and enterprise deployments.
