Overview

We are seeking a Senior Analyst - Batch Operations to join our team and support enterprise-level data operations and batch processing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ETL processes, scheduling tools, cloud-based frameworks (AWS/Airflow), and ServiceNow modules, with a proven track record in managing high-performing, high-availability solutions. This role requires close collaboration across IT and business teams to ensure seamless data operations and continuous improvement.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience in data operations, ETL, and batch processing (financial services industry experience preferred).

  • Hands-on experience with scheduling tools such as AutoSys, BMC Control-M, or equivalent.

  • Strong expertise in AWS services, including Airflow, supporting cloud-based ETL and real-time data pipelines.

  • Proficiency in ServiceNow modules: Incident, Service Request, Change, Problem, Knowledge Management, and reporting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact effectively with IT and business stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality and accurate solutions under pressure.


Responsibilities

  • Manage data operations including validation of incoming data sources, data integration, compilation, and distribution.

  • Ensure data quality and accuracy; establish KPIs and dashboards for monitoring and reporting.

  • Define and enforce batch/ETL job lineage processes to ensure compliance with policies.

  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to implement and maintain operational controls.

  • Oversee the integration of inbound/outbound data sources to ensure reliability and scalability.

  • Identify opportunities for optimization and automation to support increasing complexity and business demand.

  • Provide training and user support for data/reporting issues and resolution management.

  • Monitor, triage, and assign data operations work via IT service desk, IT demand intake, and business partner channels.

  • Develop frameworks and methodologies for deploying DataOps solutions.

  • Contribute to the vision and strategy of DataOps, including roadmaps, growth opportunities, and efficiency improvements.

  • Promote a strong culture of documentation, governance, and operational excellence.

  • Consolidate and deliver reports, KPIs, and metrics for leadership visibility.

  • Recommend alternative ETL solutions when existing hardware/software cannot handle scale or complexity.
