Job description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Information Security Engineering Lead to lead the design, implementation, and operationalization of technical security controls across Identity, Data, Network, Application, Cloud, and Endpoint security domains. This role requires strong technical leadership, deep expertise in security engineering, and solid cloud experience across Azure and AWS.

You will manage a team of security engineers while also being a technical contributor, ensuring that InfoSec controls are effectively embedded across enterprise systems, applications, and cloud infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in technical security roles with hands-on implementation experience.
  • 3+ years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Deep expertise in cloud security engineering for Azure and AWS.
  • Strong technical knowledge in multiple domains: IAM, Data Security, Network, Application Security, Cloud Security, Endpoint Security.
  • Hands-on experience with security tooling (e.g., Azure Security Center, AWS Security Hub, Sentinel, Defender, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto).
  • Proficient in scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell, Terraform is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles and secure architecture patterns.

Preferred Qualifications (not Mandatory):

  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD security integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of security engineers to implement and manage security controls across all domains.
  • Design and enforce security architectures and hardening standards for:
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Data Protection (Encryption, DLP, Rights Management)
  • Network Security (Firewalling, Segmentation, Zero Trust)
  • Application Security (SAST/DAST, Secure SDLC)
  • Cloud Security (Azure, AWS; IAM, logging, monitoring, configuration compliance)
  • Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), device hardening, patch management
  • Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and engineering teams to embed security controls in day-to-day operations.
  • Provide expert guidance on secure architecture and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluate and implement technical security tools (e.g., CSPM, EDR/XDR, SIEM, DLP, PAM).
  • Support regulatory and compliance initiatives (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST).
  • Lead or contribute to incident response and threat hunting activities when necessary.
