About the role:

As a Mechanical Engineer - New Grad you will develop expertise in the design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants with a focus on piping and pipe support engineering

You will report to the Senior Manager of Piping and Support and be located at Rockhill, SC. Hybrid remote/in-office

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will work with experienced engineers to develop as a technical leader.
  • You will develop technical expertise in US and international nuclear markets.
  • You will work in teams to resolve critical issues improving the construction and operation of nuclear power plants.
  • You will develop a business relationship with Westinghouse customers.
  • You will learn about pressurized water reactor (PWR) nuclear power plants

Qualifications:
  • May 2025 - December 2025 (expected) Graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering Required.
  • 0 or more years of experience
  • Previous Internship is a plus
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA Required
  • Prior experience with Technical Engineering Projects and Research
  • Experience with Technical Design and Analysis
  • Engineer in Training Certification or desire to obtain with long-term goal of obtaining P.E.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations to communicate a variety of issues: project status, problem resolution, engineering recommendations, safety briefs.
