Job Title: QA Tester
Location: Pittsburgh, PA; Strongsville, OH; Dallas, TX
Job Type: W2; Hybrid
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery, and contributing to the overall testing strategy and process improvement.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation testing frameworks.
- Collaborate with QA Analysts and Developers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and system reliability.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC), including scope assessment, risk analysis, and cost estimation.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members as needed.
- Manage testing activities for ongoing projects and future initiatives.
- Ensure timely delivery of testing solutions that meet project milestones and quality standards.
- Analyze testing requirements and develop effective testing strategies and plans.
- Review and approve test plans, test cases, and test scripts, including those involving database impacts and software usability.
- Validate software documentation for technical accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure all application documentation is up-to-date and maintained appropriately.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Must-Have Technical Skills:
- Automation testing framework knowledge and experience
- Manual testing experience
- Selenium framework experience
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- JIRA
- Agile and DevOps experience
- API Testing
