Entry-Level Electronic Systems Integration & Test Engineer

Boeing Defense, Space & Security Weapons Integration Team is hiring for an Entry-Level Electronic Systems Integration & Test Engineer in Saint Charles, MO. The qualified engineer will be responsible for execution in assigned areas of integrating Boeing weapons to military aircraft. This can include supporting lab, ground, and flight test activities as well as test plans, procedures, data processing, and reports.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Assists with the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements
  • Develops or modifies basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements
  • Performs system tests to verify operational and functional requirements
  • Supports resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies
  • Research basic technologies for potential application to company business needs

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires ship. A final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience designing, building, and running electronic systems test lab equipment
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting software
  • Experience with testing of electronic systems
  • Familiarity with serial data communications standards such as MIL-STD-1553
  • Familiarity with Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) testing and associated standards such as MIL-STD-461
