Role Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidates will perform advanced computer programming work, primarily focusing on developing, testing, debugging, and documenting complex client/server and web-based applications. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing software solutions by understanding information needs, collaborating with users, and analyzing systems.
- Investigating and resolving problem areas in software.
- Designing and implementing system specifications, standards, and programming.
- Writing, testing, debugging, and documenting complex programs using C# (.Net), Blazor, and/or SQL.
- Designing, developing, and implementing specialized programs for front and back-end web applications using HTML5, CSS, C# .NET Blazor, SQL, Stored Procedures, Oracle, and SQL Server.
- Working closely with systems analysts, architects, and business areas for requirements gathering, technical issue resolution, and solution modeling.
- Performing research and analysis for specialized programs to enhance web applications.
- Recommending improvements to application development processes.
- Performing other assigned duties.
Candidate Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Requirements (Candidates must meet or exceed these):
- 4+ years of experience in development of web-based software applications.
- 4+ years of experience in root cause analysis and resolution.
- 4+ years of experience programming in various coding languages including, but not limited to: .Net, HTML, HTML5, ASP, Java, JSP, .NET/C#, front-end and back-end user interface methodologies technologies, SQL, and stored procedures.
- 4+ years of experience and proficiency in web programming using code languages: .NET/C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, Stored Procedures, Oracle, and SQL Server.
- 3+ years of experience with Agile SDLC methodology.
- 3+ years of experience working on a team performing a variety of SDLC related tasks.
- 3+ years of experience in intra-team collaboration for requirements gathering and software development, modifications, and maintenance.
- 3+ years of experience in presenting in-person software application change demonstrations for customer approval.
- 2+ years of experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar.
- 1+ year of experience programming in C# .Net Blazor.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
Preferred Experience:
- 1+ year of experience porting existing codebase from Java to C# .NET Blazor.
- 1+ year of experience and knowledge of responsive web design practices and implementation.
- 1+ year of experience and knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), and implementation.
