Service Desk / Audio Visual Technician
Contract to Hire
Plano, TX (Hybrid - 4 days a week onsite)
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for in depth troubleshooting and delivering solutions to end user issues with the network and computer applications. As a member of a team, this position will assist in maintaining the corporation s computer infrastructure including servers, desktops/laptops, mobile technology and network while looking forward for innovation improvements and to run projects to mature the environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of position):
Nothing in this job description restricts management s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
Diagnose, troubleshoot complex problems and support end users computer and applications on the network.
Provide level 2 application and network troubleshooting diagnosis to the Network Systems Administrators.
Lead efforts in the improvement of new laptop, phone and tablet technology.
Support of Audio Visual equipment used for meeting, Town Hall meeting (Laptops, projectors, screens conference room equipment etc.)
Lead efforts and coordinate with the business teams to fully support Sales team onboarding.
Train new team members on proper methods.
Create procedure documentation for team.
Provide mobile device support to the end user.
Monitor, recommend and create basic end user training to meet the needs of the various business units.
Coordinate with other Information Technology team members in resolving issues to the customer's satisfaction.
Lead communication efforts within the team and to other IT teams or the business concerning system issues.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
5-7 years of experience with laptop systems, Microsoft Windows and all types of miscellaneous hardware.
5-7 years of experience managing MS Office Applications.
1+ years of A/V Equipment support
A good base knowledge with Servers and Networking including WiFi.
Experience with various brand of Tablets and MAC IOS devices.
Ability to handle a high volume of requests, multiple tasks and customers simultaneously.
Must be able to communicate well with end users, through email, phone, and in person.
Take on-call support for after hours and weekends.
Regular Attendance required.
NONESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS (not necessary but preferred):
Experience managing users in a Citrix environment.
Experience working in a VM server environment.
Experience supporting and maintaining corporate phone system and/or cell phones (iPhone, Android ).
Oracle administration experience is a plus
Estimated Min Rate: $23.10
Estimated Max Rate: $33.00
