Job Description:
We re looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with expertise in C programming for vehicle control systems. This role focuses on developing robust, real-time embedded software for off-highway or on-road vehicle platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop embedded C software for vehicle ECUs and control modules.
- Work closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration.
- Conduct unit testing, validation, and debugging of embedded systems.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to software architecture decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in embedded C development for automotive or industrial vehicles.
- Experience in electronics or transmissions/engines.
- Well versed in embedded C transmission, engines, body control, system design, datalink, CAN
- RTOS experience
- Application level development not firmware
- Strong understanding of CAN protocols, diagnostics (UDS), and safety-critical systems.
- Bonus: Background with caterpillar
