Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cisco Telephony Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. As a Cisco Telephony Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's telephony infrastructure. Your expertise in Cisco Unified Communications technologies will be essential in ensuring reliable and efficient communication services across the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Cisco certifications such as CCNP Collaboration or CCIE Collaboration highly preferred.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco Unified Communications solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco CallManager (CUCM), Unity Connection, Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX), and other relevant Cisco telephony technologies.
- Strong understanding of VoIP protocols and telephony-related technologies.
- Experience with SIP trunking and integration with PSTN providers.
- Solid understanding of network protocols, QoS, and routing concepts related to VoIP.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot complex telephony issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team-oriented environment.
