Job Details

Job Title: Senior Business Analyst- Locals to Austin, Texas( In Person Interview)

Duration: 11 months

Location: Austin, TX

Key responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.
  • Align business processes and systems with overall business strategies.
  • Conduct business process reengineering and identify opportunities to apply technology for efficiency.
  • Prepare solution options, including cost/benefit, ROI, buy vs. build analyses, and risk assessments.
  • Document user needs, program functions, and technical specifications for system development or modification.
  • Provide senior-level analysis for IT business requirements within Business Automation and SSA areas.
  • Interpret assistance program policies and assess their impact on automated systems (TIERS, SSP, EST, etc.).
  • Collaborate with business areas and external stakeholders to define system-related requirements.
  • Develop and implement eligibility program business rules, business requirements, and technical specifications.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Monitor internal operations and vendor performance, report deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives and analyze performance data to identify improvement areas.
  • Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective action plans for IT systems and processes.
  • Conduct peer reviews of business requirement documents and coordinate technical writing/editing reviews.
  • Review and provide feedback on complex project deliverables (charters, design docs, test plans, risk assessments).
  • Lead the preparation of audit documentation and responses for internal/external audits.
  • Prepare and deliver reports, communications, and presentations to staff and executive management.
  • Provide production support and technical assistance for SSA eligibility systems.

Required Qualification:

  • 4+ years of Ability to mentor and provide consultation and direction to other Social Services Applications (SSA) staff.
  • 4+ years of Ability to analyse and interpret technical information including regulations, policy, and automation system documentation
  • 4+ years of Ability to communicate in writing, translating user/business needs into a technical style, and communicate technical instructions to system users.
  • 4+ years of Ability to plan and coordinate individual and group work activities.
  • 4+ years of Ability to detect and diagnose application problems.
  • 4+ years of Ability to create technical designs for solutions to problems.
  • 4+ years of Ability to work professionally with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • 4+ years of Ability to prepare concise business requirements, technical specifications documents and related artifacts.
