Job Details
This Desktop Support resource is going to be working onsite at the Aberdeen, Maryland distribution center facility. This is for a 6-9 month contract. This position will be Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Responsibilities include: Installs, modifies, and makes minor repairs to microcomputer hardware and software systems and provides technical support to internal customers utilizing technology products.
Provide solutions to hardware and software issues.
Install new software, hardware and peripheral components, such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives for customers following design or installation specifications.
Answers client's inquiries concerning systems operation' diagnoses system hardware, software, and operator problems, and recommends or performs remedial actions to correct problems based on knowledge of system operation.
Must be able to provide Network and server support. Must strive to meet or exceed personal and team objectives.
Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Refers to policies and practices for guidance.
Must have knowledge of Windows 95/98, Windows NT, and Windows 2000.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
