About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Network Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of private cloud network infrastructure. This individual will play a strategic role in modernizing our client s enterprise network with a focus on cloud-native networking, infrastructure automation, and secure interconnectivity across hybrid environments.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in private cloud networking and a proven track record of delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure solutions in complex, global environments.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the lead architect for private cloud network architecture, delivering scalable, secure, and resilient designs.
Define and implement Cloud Network as a Service (CNaaS) models tailored to enterprise requirements.
Architect and deploy hybrid connectivity across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), including VPCs, Direct Connect, transit gateways, and SD-WAN.
Drive adoption of network segmentation, zero-trust network models, and policy enforcement frameworks.
Automate network provisioning and configuration using Ansible, Python, or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across cloud and data center environments.
Establish and maintain standards for cloud and private network architecture.
Act as an escalation point for high-severity production issues, coordinating with internal teams and third-party vendors.
Collaborate with engineering, security, and business stakeholders to align network solutions with enterprise goals.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years of experience in enterprise network architecture and engineering.
Proven expertise in private cloud network design and implementation.
Deep knowledge of IP networking and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS).
Hands-on experience with SDN technologies (Cisco ACI, NSX-T, Arista), and cloud network architectures.
Public cloud networking expertise (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), including VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, transit gateways, etc.
Network automation and scripting experience using tools like Ansible and Python.
Strong understanding of security concepts, ZTNA, and SASE frameworks.
Familiarity with DevOps practices (Git, Jenkins, CI/CD).
Excellent troubleshooting skills and communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications: CCNP/CCIE, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform certifications.
Experience with network management platforms (e.g., NetScout, Splunk, Broadcom CA).
Experience in planning and executing large-scale cloud or data center migration initiatives.
