We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Data Migration Lead with hands-on Syniti expertise to drive end-to-end migration from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors.
The ideal candidate has a proven record of leading complex SAP data transformations in large-scale environments and can balance technical depth with project leadership.

This position is primarily remote; however, the selected candidate will be required to travel to Bismarck, ND on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to collaborate with project stakeholders and support on-site SAP migration activities.Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of data migration projects, from planning and design to execution, testing, and go-live support.
- Develop and implement data migration strategies, including data profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
- Utilize various data migration tools, including Syniti, to automate and streamline the migration process.
- Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for migrating data from legacy systems to SAP and SuccessFactors.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless integration between legacy systems and SAP environments.
- Perform data quality checks and resolve data inconsistencies and errors.
- Document data migration processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting.
- Mentor and guide junior data migration team members.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest data migration technologies and trends.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with data migration projects.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in data migration, with a strong focus on SAP implementations.
- Extensive experience migrating HR data to SuccessFactors.
- Proven experience migrating data for other SAP modules (e.g., Finance, Materials Management, Sales & Distribution).
- Hands-on experience with data migration tools, including Syniti.
- Strong understanding of data migration methodologies and best practices.
- Expertise in data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and validation techniques.
- Proficiency in SQL and other data manipulation languages.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP certifications related to data migration.
- Experience with other data migration tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
