Software Engineer 3

Job Overview: As a Software Engineer 3, you will consult on and participate in moderately complex initiatives within Software Engineering. You'll contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables and collaborate with client personnel. Your role involves reviewing and analyzing complex technology solutions, leading initiatives, and resolving technical challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Lead complex technology initiatives.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs.
- Review and analyze large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives.
- Collaborate with key technical experts, senior technology team members, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience (or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education).
- 5+ years of Database Engineering and Development experience.
- 5+ years of ETL (Extract Transform Load) development with Ab Initio pipelines and SQL-based pipelines.
- 3+ years of Teradata development (physical and semantic databases).
- 3+ years of Oracle development (Complex SQL queries, Stored Procedures, functions, triggers, etc.).
- 3+ years of Hadoop and HIVE development with knowledge of writing HiveQL queries.
- 3+ years of Apache Spark and Spark SQL development with knowledge of PySpark and Scala/Java Spark API.
- 3+ years of data modeling, mapping, and analysis experience.
- 3+ years of AutoSys experience for orchestrating jobs.
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of test-driven and behavior-driven application development.
- Ability to design, develop, and implement large-scale/complex software applications.
- Familiarity with modern ETL technologies.
- 4+ years of Agile experience.
- Experience with Kafka.
- Knowledge of Microservices.
- 3+ years' experience with SDLC tools and processes (GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Maven, or Gradle).
- 4+ years of experience in developing complex database SQL queries, Stored Procedures, functions, triggers, etc.
- Working knowledge of Unix and Linux.
Job Expectations:
- Ability to work on-site at approved location.
