Job Description
**Only qualified Project Manager candidates located near the Tampa, FL or Columbus, Ohio area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence**

Knowledge Experience:
3 to 5 years of experience as Project Manager
Project Management experience or certification ideal
Good working knowledge of MS applications especially Excel
Fund Accounting experience is helpful
Experience of working with asset management clients on a variety of investment fund vehicles
Sound understanding of financial markets
Experience of working in Project teams desirable
Knowledge of MS Visio PowerBI and SQL is a definite asset

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate to a range of audiences
Good working knowledge of MS applications

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day to day management of executing to milestones and budget on one or more projects
Assess creation of project plan, charter, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log
Work with Project Sponsor to ensure business case cost benefit analysis is in line with business objectives and confirm project plans meet business needs as described in the project initiation documents
Ensure all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities and understand project schedule and key milestones
Escalate project risks to the Project Director or Project Sponsor when appropriate
Ensure vendor performance is monitored and actions taken if performance warrants
Provide sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions
Directly affect the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice counsel or provided services
Operate with a limited level of direct supervision
Exercise independence of judgment and autonomy
Act as SME to senior stakeholders and or other team members
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the client its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws rules and regulations adhering to policy applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior conduct and business practices and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency
