Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Workday Extend Developer to design, develop, and deploy custom applications on the Workday Extend platform for a leading Life Sciences client. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Workday Extend, integrations, and business process frameworks, with the ability to collaborate with functional and technical teams in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom applications using Workday Extend platform
- Build and maintain UI components, business logic, and data services
- Develop and support Workday integrations using REST/SOAP APIs
- Collaborate with Workday functional consultants (HCM, Finance, Security)
- Ensure applications comply with security, performance, and scalability standards
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and support deployments across environments
- Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, and documentation
- Provide post-production support and enhancements as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience with Workday Extend Development
- Strong knowledge of Workday architecture and security framework
- Experience with Workday integrations, APIs, and data services
- Proficiency in XSLT, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML
- Hands-on experience with Workday Studio or Extend Integrations
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in Life Sciences / Pharma / Healthcare domain
- Workday Extend or Workday Pro Certification
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Exposure to compliance-driven environments (GxP, SOX, HIPAA preferred)
