Summary
IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing small, medium-scale and large IT projects. This is mid-level PM role manages the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. PM will work closely with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. Looking for an individual who has hands on experience in IT project with more emphasis on the Software side
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of small to medium-sized IT projects, including planning, execution, and closure.
- Communication skills are a key skill. Full time 5 days onsite presence is required
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Focusing on application and software development projects that align with business objectives. Understanding of the product development life cycle.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain essential project documentation, such as project charters, schedules, and status reports.
- Track project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Participate in project meetings, facilitating discussions and managing action items.
Minimum and Preferred Qualifications
- 5-+ years of project management and related experience
- Minimum 2 years of engineering experience
- Good Grasp on IT principles and processes such as networking, software development, application development, Architecture IT Review.
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to influence clients and co-workers.
- Bachelor s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with IT projects in areas such as software development, infrastructure, or cloud technologies.
