RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a fully remote Reconciliations Analysts to join their team.
Responsibilities:
* Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and sub-ledgers
* Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies
* Investigate and resolve unmatched transactions, variances, and aged items in reconciliation reports
* Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable sub-ledgers to the general ledger
* Monitor and reconcile suspense accounts, ensuring timely clearing and proper documentation
* Collaborate with treasury, accounts payable, and receivable teams to ensure alignment of financial data
* Prepare and maintain detailed reconciliation schedules and supporting documentation for audit readiness
* Assist in the automation and streamlining of reconciliation processes using tools and templates
* Identify root causes of recurring reconciliation issues and recommend corrective actions
* Support internal and external audits by providing reconciliation documentation and responding to inquiries
* Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements
* Participate in system upgrades or implementations that impact reconciliation processes
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required)
* 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on reconciliations
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
