Role 1 Job Duties (Supply Chain Planning Focus)

• Write detailed BRDs and solution designs for Supply Chain Planning, capturing demand, supply, inventory planning requirements, process flows, data needs, and integration impacts.
• Configure Supply Planning (e.g., Oracle Fusion Supply Planning) including planning parameters, calendars, sourcing rules, demand/supply plans, time fences, and exception rules.
• Set up and maintain demand and supply plans, including forecast loading, disaggregation (monthly weekly), forecast consumption, and alignment with S&OP inputs.
• Design and manage simulation / what-if scenarios to assess the impact of NPIs, ECOs, demand changes, substitutions, and capacity constraints on supply, inventory, and service levels.
• Work closely with Operations and Manufacturing to ensure planning logic correctly reflects work orders, BOM structures, and component substitutions.
• Collaborate with Inventory and Logistics teams to ensure plans accurately reflect inventory movements across orgs, inter-org transfers, and logistics lead times.
• Build and maintain planning workbenches, views, and dashboards for planners, enabling visibility into supply, demand, exceptions, shortages, excess, and recommended actions.
• Lead testing of planning solutions (unit, system, integration, UAT), including test scripts for planning engine behavior, pegging, recommendations, substitutions, and exception handling.
• Create and maintain user documentation and training materials for planners and business users; deliver training on planning processes, tools, and best practices.
• Monitor plan performance and KPIs (service level, adherence to plan, inventory turns) and recommend continuous improvements to parameters, data quality, and processes.
