Are you a detail-oriented CPA/EA with a passion for helping clients navigate complex tax laws and make smart financial decisions? We re looking for a skilled Certified Public Accountant or Enrolled Agent to join our team and take a lead role in tax preparation and financial advisory services for a diverse client base. This is an amazing opportunity for a well spoken, well groomed individual with an attitude of service.

About the Role:

As a Tax Manager you'll work directly with individuals, small businesses, and corporations, delivering expert tax preparation and strategic financial advice. This is a client-facing role that requires a balance of technical accuracy, business acumen, and excellent communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review individual, business, and corporate tax returns (federal, state, and local)
  • Review clients books and records live and after the fact
  • Review staff accountant work and provide feedback, training, etc...
  • Provide proactive tax planning and compliance support
  • Advise clients on financial decisions, entity structuring, and risk mitigation
  • Analyze financial data and develop customized financial strategies
  • Stay current with tax law changes and regulatory updates
  • Support audits, respond to IRS notices, and represent clients when necessary
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality service

Requirements:

  • Active CPA license or Enrolled Agent (required)
  • 10+ years of experience in tax preparation and financial advisory
  • Strong understanding of federal and state tax codes and regulations
  • Proficient in Thomson Reuters Products such as UltraTax, FileCabinet and Practice Management
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks Desktop and Online
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
