Job Details

As an Expert Solution & System Integration, you'll be at the forefront of technology transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S4 HANA, seamlessly connecting Procurement & Supply Management business requirements with user experience. Your role involves developing integration strategies for highly complex ecosystems, creating precise interface specifications, and analyzing solutions to ensure smooth data flows across various layers (hardware, platforms, applications, and legacy systems). Your leadership and meticulous product documentation will be instrumental in driving successful product development.

Main Responsibilities

Strategic Integration Leadership:

    • Lead the software development lifecycle, overseeing end-to-end solution development envisioned by architects.
    • Act as the technical bridge between solution architecture, business analysis, design, development, infrastructure integration, quality testing, vendors, and project management.
    • Accountable & Responsible of the projects & programs solution delivery for his/her functional stream.
    • Accountable & Responsible of the projects & programs dependencies across functional workstreams.
    • Owns the principles that guide quality management when it comes to delivery of the solution.
    • Decides on technical architecture changes, compliance with requirements and alignment with business objectives in collaboration with solution architects and business leads.
    • Ensure a consistent understanding of the solution across all team members.
    • Drives and takes functional and technology solutioning and decisions for his/her stream.
    • Lead and coordinate daily work of internal solution designer specialists & analysts.

Effective Collaboration:

  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional technical teams, fostering innovation and efficient problem-solving.
  • Engage with both business stakeholders, external solution integrators, and technical experts, adapting communication styles as needed.
  • Logs, tracks, and updates RAID log with a mitigation approach to reduce project & program risks.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Business Lead and Subject Mater Experts, Product Owner, Product Manager, Architects, to understand business objectives and purpose of the future application.
  • Supports requirements gathering and architecture shaping.
  • Perform research to understand 'As Is' application(s) (when applicable) and architecture artifacts.
  • Understand integration points between, legacy systems, front-end, backend and satellite systems and highlight potential solution delivery risks.
  • Envision and identify systems components required to deliver the full integrated solution.
  • Collaborate with Business and Data Designers to define data conversion strategy.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to build-up strategies and overall integration testing requirements.
  • Escalate potential architecture changes or change in scope.
  • Review and approve functional design documents and ensure consistency of documentation an integrated solution.
  • Collaborate to the preparation and coordination the full Implementation Plan
  • Ensures solution is stable in production and properly transferred to core.
  • Master the end-to-end solution and act as the go-to person for any question related to the solution in scope for delivery.
  • Ensure solution is stable and sustainable in Production Environment
  • Assist in defining design standards, maintaining/evolving governance, and foundational best practices (i.e., design patterns, design principles.)
  • Maintain the currency of the design documentation.
  • Lead technical discussions and moderate technical decisions.

Level of Interaction/Influence

  • Work closely with Project Managers, Business leads and 3rd party Integrator leads.
  • Influence vendors within domain(s) of expertise to release solutions better aligned with CN's needs (Ex: Protecting S4 HANA core standard best practices and minimize customizations)

Employees Supervised/Org Structure

  • Will coordinate solution design Specialists and Analysts day-to-day activities and deliverables.

Requirements

Education/Certification/Designation

  • Bachelor degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent degree and experience

Skills/Knowledge

  • SAP solutions (ECC/S4 HANA modules: MM, FI, PM. SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass)
  • Familiar with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
  • Good knowledge of software development
  • Very good technical documentation skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of IT security principles
  • Sense of prioritization for meeting deadlines
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
  • Ability to estimate efforts and costs required for delivery or change requests.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel and meet deliverable dates.
  • Proactive, able to plan, address or mitigate technical risk.
  • Proven experience delivering technology projects involving multiple parties.
  • Ability to navigate within a complex I&T organization.
  • Ability to lead in ambiguous situations.

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years overall work experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in SAP ECC or S4 HANA.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass)
  • Experience with Procurement & Supply Management business processes and associated solutions

Resource Location

  • Onshore but open to an offshore resource working during EST hours
