Description
We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Project Manager/ Consultant in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will lead the implementation of various projects within the infrastructure technologies group, demonstrating a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The role will be based in Lambertville, New Jersey - hybrid 3 days a week on site.
Responsibilities:
Lead the enterprise-wide implementation of Office 365 and manage additional smaller projects within the infrastructure technologies group.
Ensure all projects are aligned with organizational goals and IT standards.
Utilize skills in Atlassian Jira, Cloud Technologies, CRM, Database, and Microsoft Access to effectively manage projects.
Apply knowledge in EO/IR systems, About Time, AB Testing, and Budget Processes to drive project success.
Deliver results on time and maintain high-quality standards.
Design and manage project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Requirements
Extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in a Project Manager or Consultant role
Proficiency in Atlassian Jira for project management and tracking
Familiarity with Cloud Technologies and their application in a manufacturing environment
Proven experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
Ability to manage and work with databases effectively
Knowledge of EO/IR systems and their application within the industry
Experience with the 'About Time' management software
Proficiency in AB Testing and its application in project management
Understanding of budget processes and ability to manage budgets effectively
Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
Strong design skills, preferably in a manufacturing context
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Access
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Management or Engineering.
