Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Quality Automation Engineer to lead the design and development of a cutting-edge Playwright-based test automation framework. This role demands deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a passion for scalable, maintainable testing solutions. You ll drive quality across UI and API layers, integrate with CI/CD pipelines, and mentor teams to elevate automation standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Framework Architecture & Development

    • Designed and implemented a robust Playwright automation framework from scratch using a hybrid model combining Page Object Model (POM), Codegen, and Cucumber BDD.

    • Enabled cross-browser and cross-platform testing across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit for consistent UI validation.

  • Efficiency & Scalability Enhancements

    • Accelerated test creation by 60% through Playwright Codegen automation and modular POM refactoring.

    • Reduced test execution time by 70% via parallel execution and optimized locator strategies.

  • Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)

    • Integrated Cucumber BDD with Playwright to align business requirements with technical scenarios using Gherkin feature files.

  • Reporting & Debugging
