Job Details

Our client, a leading healthcare organization dedicated to advancing patient care and safety, is looking for a contract Epic Analyst. This is a fully remote role.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with strong application analysis, design expertise, and advanced troubleshooting capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring the Epic application to meet business needs and ensure optimal system performance.

Contract Duration: 3-Months - May extend
100% remote for flexible timezones.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in Epic configuration and application implementation post-certification.
  • EPIC Ambulatory strongly preferred - Current or Past Certification in Ambulatory
  • Proven expertise in detailed analysis and healthcare information systems.
  • Epic Certification (must be held for at least 6 years).
  • Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong project management and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to lead and drive projects to completion.
  • Effective issue resolution and integration capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of Epic data structures and the interpretation of hierarchies.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare, Business, or a related field.

What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of Epic applications and related business operations to align system configuration with organizational requirements.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and configure Epic applications accordingly.
  • Serve as a liaison between our client and other departments to resolve configuration-related issues.
  • Develop and execute test plans for configuration validation and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of workflows, data collection processes, reporting requirements, and other technical aspects
  • Document internal decisions that guide application design and configuration.
  • Collaborate with teams responsible for process design, system interfaces, testing, and implementation.
  • Evaluate and test new software releases thoroughly.
  • Manage system updates and changes, ensuring users are informed before new releases are deployed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
