Business Analyst/Consultant - III

Introduction:

The Business Analyst/Consultant - III position is a key role within our team, responsible for contract management, finance, licensing, process management, risk management, and overall management of projects related to IT service agreements. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in negotiating, managing, and analyzing contracts to ensure they align with business goals and deliver value to the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage contract life cycles, with a focus on technology or IT service agreements
  • Negotiate and determine contractual and financial exposure
  • Bridge communications between IT and business organizations to structure contracts that meet business needs
  • Stay informed on contracting trends, licensing models, and vendor performance metrics
  • Manage multiple vendors and contracts simultaneously
  • Identify and mitigate contract risks

Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • Five or more years of experience in contract management or paralegal work
  • Knowledge of best practices for IT contract negotiation tactics and strategies
  • Ability to determine contractual and financial exposure and negotiate contracts
  • Strong project and process management skills
  • Understanding of contract risks and mitigation strategies

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with IT service agreements
  • Familiarity with licensing models and emerging contract trends
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors and tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
