Job Details
Job Description:
- This consultant will be responsible for conducting final audits, packaging inspections, and quality verification for all systems, upgrades, and miscellaneous kits before shipment.
- This role ensures compliance with established procedures, quality standards, and Bill of Materials (BOM) requirements, directly supporting production readiness and on-time delivery.
- The consultant will work closely with Manufacturing, Production Control, Engineering, Material Handling, and Shipping teams to identify, document, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Perform final quality audits of systems, upgrades, and miscellaneous kits prior to shipment.
- Audit and verify materials against Bill of Materials (BOMs) and documentation.
- Conduct visual inspections to ensure part quality and evaluate packaging integrity.
- Confirm all items are properly labeled, packaged, and consolidated in the correct shipping bins.
- Collaborate with Production Control and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve any discrepancies.
- Coordinate material movement out of cleanroom areas to designated staging or shipping zones.
- Maintain and update Plant Clearance audit records and quality documentation.
- Identify and document non-conformances (NCs) and redline procedures where applicable.
- Provide feedback and process improvement suggestions to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Support training and onboarding of new hires or team members as needed.
- Support additional product lines and Plant Clearance activities as business demands require.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in quality auditing, packaging inspection, or manufacturing support.
- Proficient in SAP software for materials and process tracking.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in production schedules and priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to handle high-volume audits.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple departments.
- Capable of multitasking and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and availability to work overtime and 6-day work weeks during peak production cycles (particularly at quarter-end periods).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze issues, think critically, and take initiative in problem-solving.

Education:
- Technical Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
