Role: QA automation engineer with C#

Location: Chicago, IL

W2 Role

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Ability to gather, query and evaluate large volumes of test data & test results

Ability to use Selenium, Postman, and C# to create automated tests and execute those tests

Ability to learn and use Test Management System (TMS) to create and execute automated tests for the Summit application (if you don t hold Summit domain testing, then describe anything similar with # of years)

The Finastra Summit system is a widely used, core trading and treasury solution for capital markets that has a significant presence in multiple Federal Home Loan Banks (FHLBs).

FHLBs use the Summit platform to:

  • Manage their entire balance sheets, including assets and liabilities.
  • Process and manage various financial instruments, from vanilla assets to complex structured products.
  • Handle front-office trading, risk management, and back-office processing support.
  • Process member requests for "advances" (low-cost loans for member institutions).
  • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations like FAS 133 for hedge accounting.

The system provides an integrated, real-time environment to consolidate multiple applications and streamline operations, improving efficiency and reducing manual processes for the FHLBs that implement it. The Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston, for example, purchased the system to manage its investment and funding portfolios in the early 2000s.
