Detailed Job Description:

We are seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to join our advanced robotics team. The role focuses on developing vision-based perception systems for Collaborative Robots (COBOTS) and Autonomous Robots in a manufacturing environment. You will work on cutting-edge research in computer vision, design navigation and obstacle avoidance algorithms, and collaborate closely with robotics engineers to integrate solutions into real-world industrial applications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Research and develop advanced computer vision algorithms for autonomous and collaborative robots.
  • Design and implement perception systems to enable real-time object detection, tracking, and obstacle avoidance.
  • Develop vision-based navigation algorithms for robots operating in dynamic manufacturing environments.
  • Collaborate with robotics engineers to integrate vision models with robotic control systems (ROS/ROS2).
  • Optimize and deploy deep learning models for real-time inference on embedded/edge hardware.
  • Conduct testing, validation, and fine-tuning of perception systems in real-world plant environments.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, Deep Learning, and Robotics Vision to drive innovation.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong experience in Computer Vision and Deep Learning (CNNs, object detection, segmentation, SLAM).
  • Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, scikit-learn.
  • Hands-on expertise in AI techniques applied to robotics and autonomous navigation.
  • Experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) with Automation Anywhere.
  • Strong knowledge of sensor integration (cameras, LiDAR, depth sensors) and sensor fusion techniques.
  • Familiarity with ROS/ROS2 for robotic system integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to deploy solutions in real-world scenarios.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional robotics teams.
