About the Role
We're looking for a strategic and experienced technology leader to drive our digital engineering initiatives within the pharmaceutical and life sciences domain. As Senior Director / AVP, you'll define and execute the digital technology roadmap, lead high-performing engineering teams, and deliver scalable, secure, and innovative solutions that support our mission to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the digital engineering function across software development, cloud architecture, DevOps, and emerging technologies.
- Develop and execute a digital strategy aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements in the life sciences sector.
- Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and governance frameworks to ensure quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including product, data, and business stakeholders-to deliver scalable technical solutions.
- Drive innovation through AI/ML, cloud-native platforms, microservices, and modern software architectures tailored to pharmaceutical needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in digital engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role at the Director level or above.
- Proven track record in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Deep expertise in software development, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to align technology with business and regulatory needs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing AI/ML solutions in regulated environments.
- Familiarity with GxP, HIPAA, and other compliance frameworks.
- Demonstrated success in leading digital transformation initiatives in pharma or biotech.
