SAP IBP Consultant

Job Description

• Provide production support and continuous improvement for SAP Integrated Business Planning in an SAP S/4HANA landscape. The role is responsible for alignment between IBP planning processes (Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP/Response) and detailed execution planning in PP/DS, covering functional planning support, data integration, issue resolution, and planning-to-execution consistency.
• Key Responsibilities
• Support IBP Demand, Supply, Inventory Optimization, and S&OP/Response planning processes- Support planning views, key figures, alerts, and planning operators- Analyze and resolve planning exceptions and data inconsistencies- Ensure alignment between IBP supply plans, MRP outputs, and PP/DS schedules- Monitor and troubleshoot IBP data integrations and planning jobs- Provide L2/L3 support including root-cause analysis and defect resolution- Support UAT, regression testing, and IBP releases- Create and Maintain operation and training documentation
• Experience & Skills
• 3-8+ years of SAP supply chain planning experience- 2-5+ years hands-on SAP IBP support (Implementation, AMS or post go-live)- Strong understanding of IBP planning models, key figures, planning levels, and operators- Working knowledge of PP/DS and its interaction with IBP and MRP in S/4HANA- Experience supporting IBP data integrations and reconciliation- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills
• Certifications (Preferred)
• SAP Integrated Business Planning certification- SAP certification (PP, PP/DS, APO)- ITIL or equivalent support certification
