We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Strategic Transformation team within the Supply Chain division. This project manager will play a crucial role in supporting strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance of our supply chain operations. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments. This position is accountable for managing projects within a program, which may consist of multiple tiered complex projects with high visibility, aggressive schedules, and requiring significant negotiation to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders and achieve specific business goals or objectives for the Enterprise.
This position is accountable for managing supply chain projects that are focused on providing leading edge business technology solutions, product innovations and/or world-class technical infrastructure. The candidate should have ability to look across the program and see the larger needs while also able to drive focus and accountability and create/manage detailed project plans.
This position will manage work utilizing standard project management methodologies, processes/procedures projects have clear start/end dates; specific manpower resource allocations; budgets and are clearly identified as a "project" by the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Improvement: Assist in the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing supply chain operations. Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Project Support: Provide analytical support for strategic transformation projects, including project planning, execution, and monitoring. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of supply chain strategies. Generate insights and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to gather information, share findings, and facilitate decision-making processes.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management.
Comments: Looking for that 5 year background in project management and six-sigma background. Must be able to navigate Jira and showcase how they have rapidly turned around projects. Must be able to identify, prioritize and react quickly to complex scenarios. Must have a proven track record on project delivery.
