Opportunity Overview:

iSphere is seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle HCM Implementation Consultant to serve as a client-side advocate and lead advisor during a major Oracle ERP deployment in Springfield, MO. This hybrid role involves helping a K-12 public sector organization realign their implementation strategy following setbacks with a third-party vendor. Your first priority will be to assess the current implementation state and guide the client through a successful go-live of base HCM functionality.

This is a high-impact, long-term consulting opportunity for an expert in Oracle Cloud HCM who thrives in environments requiring both strategic oversight and hands-on execution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the client s program manager and ERP advisor throughout the remainder of the Oracle HCM implementation

  • Evaluate current deployment status and re-baseline project plans, configurations, and priorities

  • Conduct gap analysis between client needs and current Oracle configuration

  • Ensure Oracle HCM modules are tailored to support employee contracts, benefits, time & labor, absence management, and state reporting

  • Translate complex business requirements into detailed system design and configuration specifications

  • Act as a liaison between client leadership and vendor technical teams to resolve issues and drive clarity

  • Guide the implementation lifecycle: planning, design, customization, testing, go-live support, and user training

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including functional specifications, issue logs, testing plans, and training materials


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field

  • 7+ years of Oracle ERP experience, with a strong focus on Oracle Cloud HCM modules

  • Proven success managing and implementing ERP systems in K-12, education, or public sector environments

  • Strong functional knowledge of HCM modules: Time & Labor, Absence, Benefits (Payroll is a plus)

  • Experience acting as a client-facing lead or program manager on ERP implementations

  • Expertise in gathering requirements, conducting fit-gap analyses, facilitating CRPs, and leading functional configuration and testing

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple tracks and stakeholders simultaneously

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Experience with 3+ full-cycle ERP implementations


Preferred/Bonus Qualifications:

  • Oracle Certification in HCM Cloud

  • Prior experience in public school districts or state/local government environments

  • Familiarity with Oracle integration for state reporting and compliance

  • Exposure to enterprise change management and training program delivery
