Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Engineering Lead - M&A Integration (Financial Services) to drive end-to-end quality assurance strategy and execution for complex system integrations, particularly in the context of mergers and acquisitions (M&A). The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of Financial Services and Wealth Management domains, combined with a strong technical background in quality engineering and program management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and drive comprehensive quality strategies for end-to-end enterprise system validation, ensuring scalable and robust test scenarios across multiple platforms and integrations.
- Design, implement, and oversee QA strategies specifically tailored to new M&A integrations, with a focus on minimizing risk and ensuring seamless transitions.
- Lead test planning, automation, execution, and defect management efforts across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Manage and report program outcomes, risk assessments, and quality metrics through structured status reports and executive summaries.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, business, and operations to align on integration timelines and quality checkpoints.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, data privacy regulations, and best practices in financial systems testing.
- Lead a team of QA engineers, providing direction, mentorship, and technical oversight.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering/Assurance, with a strong focus on enterprise applications and systems integration.
- Proven experience architecting end-to-end test solutions across complex technology landscapes.
- Demonstrated success managing quality programs for M&A initiatives, ideally within regulated industries.
- Deep domain knowledge of Financial Services and Wealth Management products, processes, and platforms.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools, CI/CD practices, and defect tracking systems.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, Charles River, Broadridge, or other wealth management systems.
- Certification in ISTQB, PMP, or other relevant credentials.
- Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, and DevOps environments.
