Principal Systems Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Principal Systems Analyst in Merrimack, NH.

Duties:
* Principal Systems Analyst will provide systems analysis support on an Agile team that includes multiple business and technology partners
* Collaborate with other Agile teams to identify dependencies and define scope
* Work with business and technology partners to define the scope of problems/issues and translate into system requirements
* Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and story maps
* As a Principal Systems Analyst, you will participate in backlog refinement sessions. Translate sophisticated business needs into clear, actionable, requirements/user stories
* Collaborate with Agile team members to research and evaluate alternative solutions

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in technology-related subject area
* 10+ years of systems analysis experience working with enterprise, customer facing web applications
* Experience driving systems analysis and story refinement in an Agile/Scrum environment
* Deep experience using a wide range of analysis techniques and technologies to deliver high quality technical analysis
* Experience providing deep technical analysis of customer-facing internet applications developed using modern technologies such as Angular, Java/JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Spring/Spring Boot, REST, and SOAP
* Demonstrable experience implementing data sourcing and mapping analysis for REST and SOAP services
* Good understanding of various web application components and how they interact with each other (e.g. web pages, API's, backend systems)
* JIRA expert
* Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Proven expertise identifying, defining and documenting clear and concise systems requirements, translating business needs into technical design solutions, identifying systems, interdependencies, and creating detailed design documents
* Ability to analyze backend data sources by writing SQL queries
* Ability to analyze application logs using Datadog, Splunk or similar for both testing and production support
* Ability to detail end-to-end systems integrations via Process Flow diagrams and to communicate sophisticated technical concepts and designs related to cloud (AWS) and on-premise web products
* Ability to translate analysis into JIRA/Agile stories that meet all acceptance criteria and can be handed off to developers for immediate execution
* Able to work on own initiative, highly proactive, self-motivated, resourceful

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
