Apple OTA System Engineering team is looking for a Mechanical Robotics Engineer to support design, development, and deployment of Fixtures, and Robotic solutions to enable complex autonomous test systems.
Description - You will support design, integration and deployment of robotic automated solutions for wireless technologies test systems. You will also debug and resolve issues as well as identify and implement improvements on exiting Robotic solutions. - You will design and create custom fixtures as well as support fast prototyping to fit the needs of specific automated solutions. - You will also provide feedback towards selection of 3rd party vendor robotic solutions as well as validate their desired application. - You will contribute to define and communicate requirements, including HW and SW dependencies of desired automated solution to x-functional teams and 3rd party vendors.

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,900 and $183,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics or Mechanical Engineering.
- You have working experience with mechanical fixturing, design and production.
- Hands-on fabrication or machine-shop experience with tools such as 3-axis mill, lathe, CNC, 3D printer, laser-cutting machines as well as inspection equipment such as OMN/CMM and CT scan.
- Basic Knowledge of GD&T techniques and ability to read mechanical drawings.
- Proficiency with CAD including Solidworks, Pro/Engineer, or NX.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree preferred.
- Proficiency in programming languages C, C++, Python is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills required, both written & verbal.
- Self driven and able to execute with limited supervision.
- Hands-on experience with robotic arms and mobile robots.
- Robotic mechanical and electrical trouble shooting skills.
