Job Details

Job Title: Workday Technical Analyst
Location: 100% Remote (Must reside within the U.S.)
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire (6-month contract)
Conversion Bonus: 10% annual bonus upon full-time conversion

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Technical Analyst with strong hands-on expertise across the Workday platform- specifically Financials, HCM, SCM, and Adaptive Planning. This role focuses on Workday security, integrations, reporting, and functional configuration. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with exceptional stakeholder management skills and deep experience supporting complex Workday environments.

Responsibilities

< data-start="1079" data-end="1106">Functional Support</>
  • Serve as SME across Workday HCM, Financials, SCM, and Adaptive Planning.

  • Support configuration updates, functional troubleshooting, and enhancement requests.

  • Manage release cycles, testing activities, and new feature enablement.

  • Translate business requirements into effective, scalable Workday configurations.

  • Design, configure, and maintain Workday security roles, domain policies, and dynamic groups.

  • Lead periodic security audits and ensure compliance with internal standards.

  • Manage SSO, MFA, authentication strategies, and access controls across environments.

  • Investigate security incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

  • Develop, enhance, and support integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and REST/SOAP.

  • Manage full integration lifecycle: design → build → deployment → post-production support.

  • Troubleshoot integration errors, optimize performance, and ensure data security.

  • Support secure data migration efforts and related authentication processes.

  • Build custom reports, dashboards, and analytics using Workday Report Writer and Prism Analytics.

  • Ensure accurate, secure, and compliant data access across reporting layers.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience across multiple modules (HCM, Financials, SCM, Adaptive/Planning, Prism, Strategic Sourcing).

  • 3+ years of Workday Security Administration experience.

  • Strong background in Workday integrations and technical troubleshooting.

  • Proficiency with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Report Writer, and security configuration.

  • Workday certifications (preferred).

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
