Software Engineer
The Opportunity:

We're looking for a passionate, full-stack Sof tware Engineer to work with a fast-paced, highly collaborative sof tware development team building and launching capability for enterprise web-based systems in the cybersecurity field. You'll have the opportunity to work on building a web-based SaaS solution automating Cybersecurity Risk Management and Vulnerability or Configuration Monitoring.

You'll be responsible for breaking down use cases, designing, and implementing complex system modules, interfaces, and features. You'll leverage your technical expertise in web technologies, Cloud, and sof tware engineering to modernize and re-factor traditional web application components. You'll develop robust, secure, and performant production-grade sof tware. You'll use your communication skills to work with a team to build, test, and operate system capabilities.

You should have expertise with full-stack web application development, experience with sof tware design and implementation, and be able to learn new languages, technologies, and codebases quickly. You should be able to work independently while collaborating with a team to review code and solve problems.

You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience with object-oriented programming such as C# or Java
  • 2+ years of experience with relational databases in production such as SQL Server or Postgres
  • 2+ years of experience with web development languages, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with frameworks such as jQuery, Vue, or React
  • Experience with Cloud, such as AWS or Azure
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with RMF or ATO, FedRAMP, and CMMC frameworks
  • Experience with .NET Core, MVC, and LINQ or Entity Framework
  • Experience with Endpoint, Cloud, Container, and SAST or DAST vulnerability tools
  • Experience with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins or Github Actions
  • Experience with pub or sub tools such as SQS, RabbitMQ, and Kafka
  • Experience with Containers such as Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience with GenAI, LLMs, RAG, or Agentic AI
  • Master's degree


Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
