looking for a Engineer Processer to design and plan layout for such processes as hardening, washing, laminating, etching, engraving, polishing, painting, plating, and other material-processing operations. Plans sequence of operations and specifies procedures for cutting, shaping, and otherwise preparing basic material, exercising judgment in compromising between conflicting requirements, economic evaluation of methods, and operator effectiveness and comfort. Conducts tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over such variables as temperature, density, specific gravity, pressure, and viscosity. Establishes and submits processing requirements to be met in designing and acquiring processing equipment.
Responsibilities:
Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment.
Designs sequence of operations and specify procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
Incumbents to be experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.
Basic Qualifications for an Engineer Processer:
High school diploma or GED and 2 years of relevant experience OR associate s degree/certificate in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
Preferred Qualifications for an Engineer Processer:
Working knowledge of basic military specifications; Working knowledge / experience with MIG & TIG welding processes.
Strong electronics background and fundamental knowledge of test systems.
Computer networking experience (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
Experience with Windows operation systems administration and deployment.
