Background and business context:

The job requires understanding the business context, technology landscape, analyzing scope requirements for customer projects and designing of appropriate BSS solutions and architecture so that these are implemented in accordance with the clients requirements. The BSS Solution Architect should be able to understand and balance the requirements emerging from diverse sources in complex environments and translate these into purpose fit point solution and infrastructure designs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

BSS Solution Architect shall have a variety of responsibilities, as listed below:

1. Analyze White Spaces & Customer Requirements

Responsible for analyzing account and customer data to effectively determine the customer requirements for a given product/solution, as the success of the solution depends largely on the accuracy of analysis. To accomplish this, Pre-Sales Solution Architect will need to work very closely with respective account organization to ensure precise requirement capturing.

1. Qualifying Prospects

Help account & bid management teams qualify leads by using their deep understanding of the product s ideal customer pain points & determining right to win.

1. Develop Point Solutions

Ensures cutting edge solution development, in line with industry best practices and NG-BSS frameworks. Also develop high-level and low-level solution architecture which meets customer requirement.

1. Solution Defense

Supporting proposal pitches & solution defense.

1. Knowledge Transfer

Ensuring appropriate knowledge transfer for delivery teams to deliver the project the way it was anticipated in the business case.

1. Developing Organizational Capability:

Self-learning & skill enhancement, training and development of team members on BSS technologies.

1. Skills required:
2. Technical skills,candidate should have hands on experience Java Microservices & confidence in developing BSS solutions to meet customer requirements especially related to NG-BSS encompassing Wireless & 5G, Cable & Wireline NW, Virtualization & Orchestration, Containerized NF s & Cloud aspects apart from required Java, Micro-Services, AWS
3. Analytical Skills, should be able to contextualize and understand customer requirements.
4. Commercial Acumen, should understand the commercial aspects and fitment of the solution.
5. Leadership Skills,Self-driven, self-motivated, eye for detail, sensing opportunities and leadership
6. Excellent Communication, written, verbal, listening skills etc.
7. Problem Solving. in VUCA world.

1. Experience:

Overall 12~15 years of experience, should have handled similar roles @ supplier, services operator or system integrator organization. Experience with public cloud operators shall be an added advantage.
