Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ERP Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, support, and optimization of enterprise ERP systems. This role is responsible for ensuring system stability, performance, user satisfaction, and continuous improvement while leading cross-functional teams and coordinating with vendors and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations and support of ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, or similar)

  • Ensure ERP system availability, performance, security, and data integrity

  • Lead ERP production support, incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis

  • Coordinate ERP upgrades, patches, enhancements, and release activities

  • Manage ERP operations team including analysts, developers, and support staff

  • Act as primary liaison between IT, business users, vendors, and third-party partners

  • Oversee change management, configuration management, and system documentation

  • Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and security standards

  • Support ERP integrations with upstream and downstream systems

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and cost optimization

  • Participate in ERP roadmap planning and system modernization initiatives


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field

  • 8+ years of experience supporting and managing ERP systems in an enterprise environment

  • 3+ years of experience in an ERP Operations or IT Operations leadership role

  • Strong understanding of ERP functional and technical operations

  • Experience with ERP production support, upgrades, and system maintenance

  • Strong incident, problem, and change management experience (ITIL preferred)

  • Experience managing vendors and offshore/onshore support teams

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment


Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, Oracle EBS/Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or Workday

  • ITIL certification

  • Experience with cloud-hosted ERP environments

  • Knowledge of SOX, audit, and compliance requirements

  • Experience leading ERP transformations or migrations
