Job Details
Job Summary (List Format):
- Perform technology and architecture upgrades to modernize and ensure stability of DEP portfolio applications
- Provide maintenance, enhancement, and support for various agency business applications
- Maintain and update CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes
- Assist in preparing and documenting program requirements and technical specifications
- Develop, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of user manuals and application guidelines
- Collaborate with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to resolve software issues
- Mentor and guide junior programmers in technical tasks and best practices
- Utilize expertise in MS Visual Studio (VB.NET/ASP.NET), MS SQL Server, T/SQL, and SSRS
- Work in cloud environments (preferably Azure) and manage code repositories (preferably Git)
- Apply architectural design patterns, security standards, and ISDM methodologies
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving, independent working, and time management skills
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- (Preferred) Hold MS certifications (MCSD/MCTS), experience in Azure DevOps, C#, web development, and Agile methodologies
- (Preferred) Knowledge of environmental regulatory business processes and DEP's technical environment
