Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Windows Deployment Technician to support the rollout, configuration, and optimization of Windows 10 and Windows 11 systems across the organization. This role is critical to ensuring a smooth transition for end users and maintaining system integrity during large-scale deployments and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform imaging, configuration, and deployment of Windows 10/11 devices using tools such as MDT, SCCM, or Intune.
  • Migrate user data and settings from legacy systems to new Windows environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and driver compatibility issues during deployment.
  • Provide hands-on support for end users during and after deployment, including setup, login assistance, and application access.
  • Maintain accurate records of deployed systems, asset tags, and user assignments.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with organizational standards and security policies.
  • Assist in testing and validating deployment scripts, group policies, and system configurations.
  • Document procedures, deployment outcomes, and lessons learned for future reference.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience with Windows 10/11 deployment in enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with deployment tools such as Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Windows Autopilot, or Intune.
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and user profile management.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues independently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and documentation tools.
  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar certifications.
  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell) for automation and deployment tasks.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level security and compliance standards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
