Job Description

Looking for a highly skilled passionate senior engineer or an Architect with extensive experience developing Enterprise SaaS applications to join the team working on revolutionizing the Supply Chain experience using Smart Operations concepts and technologies. High degree of proficiency in Java/J2EE, XML, RESTful web services, ADF, SOA, Database concepts and SQL is required.

At Oracle, we are developing a wide range of Smart Operations capabilities for Supply Chain products to uplevel the real-time execution experience. Intelligent predictive algorithms and Digital Twins will power these NextGen capabilities. Our solutions will use data from machines and processes, perform historical data analytics on them, analyze them in real-time, and use AI to provide users with actionable insights.

We are looking for highly talented and passionate software engineers to join the Smart Operations development team.

You will be responsible for the design and development of new Smart Operations capabilities for Supply Chain products.

Responsibilities include :

  • Design/develop the core Smart Operations capabilities and necessary extensions for Supply Chain products
  • Design/develop of Digital Twin models and capabilities for Supply Chain processes
  • Integrate with AI services for real-time insights in Supply Chain executions
  • Contribute ideas for continually improving the team's productivity, job enjoyment, and code quality
  • Actively mentor junior developers to develop their technical expertise
  • Have fun engineering NextGen capabilities in Supply Chain execution

Responsibilities

Skills needed :

  • High degree of proficiency in Java/J2EE, XML, RESTful web services, ADF, SOA
  • Well-versed in Database concepts and SQL
  • Excellent knowledge of OO Design patterns, ER modelling, and UML
  • Deep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, and distributed computing
  • Experience in Product Development life-cycle for complex software products
  • Excellent programming skills with a core focus on Product Quality
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them to technical specifications
  • Ability to design and develop solutions of medium to high level of complexity
  • Proven track record of solving business problems creatively
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to mentor junior team members
  • 10+ years of industry experience in related field
  • BS/MS in Computer Science will be a plus

US: Hiring Range: from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
