This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, well-equipped offices in Tbilisi and Batumi or a coworking space in Kutaisi.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain AWS-based infrastructure for a high-traffic sports application
• Design modular, scalable, and reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CDK
• Administer Kubernetes clusters, including Helm chart deployment, Flux CD, and GitOps workflows
• Manage CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins to enable swift and dependable releases
• Develop automation scripts (Bash, Groovy, Python) to streamline operations and reduce manual tasks
• Enhance observability through metrics, logs, and dashboards using Prometheus, Grafana, and Instana
• Troubleshoot production incidents to ensure high availability and optimal performance
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams, providing clear and effective communication
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotations aligned with the CET time zone

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience of over 3 years in DevOps or SRE roles
• Knowledge of AWS services and architecture
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform or AWS CDK
• Background in Kubernetes management, including Helm and Flux
• Skills in using Jenkins for CI/CD processes
• Proficiency in scripting languages, including Bash, Groovy, and Python
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Instana
• Competency in spoken English (B2+ level) with the ability to work independently
• Flexibility to work in the CET time zone and participate in on-call support

• Understanding of databases and search technologies: MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, and MySQL
