Senior NetSuite Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Charlottesville, VA that is seeking a Senior NetSuite Developer.

Responsibilities:
* Lead or contribute to NetSuite remediation and revenue recognition projects
* The Senior NetSuite Developer will design and implement scalable solutions for order-to-cash (OTC), accounts payable, and Rev Rec processes
* Develop and maintain custom scripts, records, and journal entries within NetSuite
* Support product catalog and order ingestion workflows for multi-product purchases
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver incremental improvements while supporting legacy systems
* The Senior NetSuite Developer will document technical solutions and participate in peer reviews
* Ensure compliance with audit and board requirements related to Rev Rec automation and accuracy

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite development experience (not admin roles)
* Expertise in Rev Rec, including payment arrangements, fair value, and automation across ME periods
* Strong knowledge of OTC, accounts payable, and NetSuite core modules
* Experience with scripting, custom records, and journal entries
* Proven success in rescue projects, with ability to articulate solutions and outcomes
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team
* Self-starter with strong documentation and peer review capabilities

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
