Job Details
Job Description:
- Design, configure, and customize Oracle Utilities NMS/OMS for utility distribution, outage management, and ADMS environments
- Integrate NMS with GIS, SCADA, CIS, AMI, IVR, Scheduler, WFM systems handling data mapping, adapters, extractors, and event workflows
- Develop and manage system interfaces and data pipelines between network management and operational systems .
- Provide hands-on advisory, testing, and implementation support (FAT/SAT/UAT), including functional and technical design documentation
- Lead technical and project tasks: estimation, budgeting, change management, training delivery, and client/vendor coordination
- Troubleshoot, patch, apply security updates, and maintain system health often in secondshift/oncall support environments
Essential Technical Skills:
- In-depth expertise with Oracle Utilities Network Management System (NMS) including modules like Web Workspace, Web Call Entry, Storm Management
- Experience with WebLogic, Linux/Solaris environments, Oracle databases, and Dev lifecycle tools
- Strong familiarity with utility domain concepts: unbalanced load flow, fault analysis, outage algorithms, and power systems operations
- Proficient in Java, J2EE, XML, SOA, Oracle XAI, shell scripting, and vulnerability patch management
- Experience integrating with GIS, SCADA, CIS, AMI, and analytics platforms (e.g., Oracle Utilities Analytics/OUA)
