Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Scituate, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract role, you will provide comprehensive technical support to end users, ensuring seamless hardware and software functionality. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and resolving technical issues efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain onsite IT assets, including imaging, deployment, and repair of devices.
Provide software support and assist with mobile device management and peripheral setup.
Deliver hands-on network support as needed to address connectivity and infrastructure issues.
Perform hardware troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on laptops and Chromebooks.
Collaborate with users to resolve technical problems and keep management informed of progress.
Administer user accounts, including setting permissions, managing security settings, and configuring group access.
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, tracing problems back to switches.
Safely lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds while navigating buildings and production areas.
Address incoming technical support tickets, resolving equipment and connectivity challenges promptly.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in desktop or deskside support roles.
Strong knowledge of IT services and products, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
Experience with PC imaging, deployment, and Chromebook enrollment.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
Ability to multitask effectively while managing client expectations and relationships.
Familiarity with Active Directory for user account management.
Proficiency in working with Windows 10 and desktop hardware.
Positive attitude and the ability to remain motivated in a dynamic environment.
