Part-Time Senior UX Designer (Contract | Remote)
Location: Fully Remote (PST Hours)
Schedule: 20 hours/week - Flexible days (Mon, Tues, Thurs)
Contract: 4-month W2
Pay: $72-$78/hour (depending on experience)

About the Role

We re partnering with a leading global e-commerce and digital advertising innovator to bring on a Senior UX Designer for a part-time contract role. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of advertiser support experiences for one of the world s largest online retail and ad platforms.

In this role, you ll design innovative tools and workflows that empower brands, agencies, and businesses to successfully grow their advertising presence through intuitive, personalized support experiences. You ll also spearhead user research initiatives, driving insights that will influence AI-first design strategies.

What You ll Do

  • Create process flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups to conceptualize and communicate detailed interactions.
  • Partner with product managers and engineers across the product lifecycle to refine and define feature requirements.
  • Conduct usability testing, customer interviews, and data-driven research to inform design decisions.
  • Lead AI-first design experiments to rethink help workflows and content consumption strategies.
  • Contribute to and work within a design system (Figma + established design libraries).
  • Present and advocate for user-centered solutions with cross-functional teams.

What We re Looking For

Required:

  • 7-8+ years of UX design experience, including recent work with AI-driven user experiences.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions for web or software applications.
  • Proficiency in Figma and experience working within design libraries/systems.
  • Strong understanding of usability principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
  • Experience conducting user research and synthesizing findings into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently and think BIG - bringing fresh, innovative ideas to the table.

Preferred:

  • Experience designing help workflows or customer/associate-facing applications.
  • Familiarity with AI-first content workflows and experimentation.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • HTML, CSS, or JavaScript prototyping skills (a plus).
